Yes! Attending Reunion
Since 1960:

Nursing school 1960-63. Married 1963 to Dennis Brennan. Moved to Denver. Divorced 1970. Went to anesthesia school in St. Louis 1970-73. Moved back to Denver. Worked at Fitzsimmons Army Med. Hospital. Married Cliff Lussier 1981. Retired and lived on a sailboat for 2 years, and then lived on the road in various RV's for 10 years. Settled and built our own home in the AZ desert. Lived there for 15 years. Moved to OKC in 2005 to be near son. Extremely active in Red Cross Disaster Action locally and nationally. Have been to 24 national disasters so far. Unfortunately, several have been tornados in my own state! My specialty is client casework but I also have been out doing mobile feeding and sheltering. Very fulfilling and, like we tell the kids, it keeps us out of the pool halls and off the streets.

School Story:

I rember a funny incident that happened in my first year at the high school. Our 9th grade home room class was in the building to the north of the high school. There was fire alarm that sounded either as a drill or the real thing. I don't remember which. All of the students got up and left the building in an orderly fashion as we had been taught. The teacher (sorry, don't remember his name) grabbed his brief case and jumped out the window. Good thing it was on the first floor.

Do you plan to attend the reunion?

Nancy, Thanks so much for remembering me on my birthday. Also heard from Sandy Barber who is still hanging in there. A nursing school reunion would be great but I'm afraid it's not going to happen. Hope you are well. Aside from a few minor agrivations, I am well.

So very sorry to hear about our classmate, Doug.  My sincere sympathy to Janet and Kevin in their loss.  I remember that red and white Chevy and the double dates as well!  A few years ago I had an email from Doug wanting to know if I remembered all those great times and we exchanged many reacquainting emails after that.  I am so happy he reached out when he did.  A very special person.

Sue was one of the strongest persons I've known.  Her strength was in her character and soul and it was such an inspiration to have worked on our class reunions with her.  We all owe her much for helping to keep the class united all these many years.  And, we are sad at her passing.  Peace be with you, dear Sue and to Lauren and the family, may you find comfort in fond memories of happier times.
