Robert D. Haworth

Robert D. Haworth

In an email from Bob Haworth's wife, Heather, I was recently informed of his passing in February of 2012.  She said that Bob was an advertising copywriter in Denver and is sadly missed in the advertising community there.  Bob played hockey twice a week with "kids" half his age.  He was working out on a treadmill and sat down in his office chair and died instantly.  It was a faulty heart valve that took his life; his heart was as strong as a 25 year old.  His missed terribly by his loving wife.

So long Friend,

I remember the first time I saw him (around 5th grade) he had a smile on his face. I remember the last day I saw him at the 50th reunion and yes he also had a smile on his face. I hope to see him again and yes I'm sure he will have a smile on his face.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Haven't seen Bob since high school, but he was an integral part of our old gang. I'm sure he will be missed by everyone. Bob was sure a lot of fun and for sure he always had a big smile. I can still see him playing basketball and football with all the guys. There aren't very many of us left, but we will never forget the good times we all had. Rest in pease and God bless his soul.

Bob and I were friends in high school. I remember him fondly with an ever-present smile on his face and always ready to make a wry comment. He was a gentle soul and a classy guy.
