SUIT, ALICE J. Age 70, of Chesterfield, passed away September 18, 2013. She was a real estate broker and partner of Red Carpet Keim. Alice was a choir member at Immaculate Conception Church and Soroptimist International of Greater Macomb. She was a master gardener, painter and decorator. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Susan (James) Zelenak and the late William Jr. Survived by daughter-in-law Marianne Suit. Dear grandmother of Jimmy (Sarah), Austin, Alicia, Maria, Billy and Shayna. Dear sister of Carol (Gerald) Simin, Georgianna (James) Miller and Marlene Paulson. Visitation 2:30-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Friday, September 20, at Gendernalik Funeral Home, 35259 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore. Prayers 10:15 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Liturgy at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 9792 Dixie Hwy., Ira. Barbara Jean Place (Burkhardt)

Alice Johnston was a neighbor and friend during the Parcells and GPHS days.  She and sister Carol along with Elaine DeClercq and Susan Gillette had many days of fun in those years.  I am glad to learn she lived a productive and happy life.
