MORRISON, Robert. April 11, 2013. Age 71. Beloved husband of Mary. Proud and loving dad of Bobby. Dear son-in-law of Mary Briggs and brother of Janice (Joe) McMillan, Donna (Marty) McMillan, Gordie Morrison, Steve Morrison, David Morrison, Sue Goike, Judy Handy and Kathleen DeBacker. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and his cat of 15 years, Garfield. Robert was an avid Detroit sports fan and loved watching the Tigers, Wings, Pistons and Lions especially with his son. He loved his family and friends deeply and will be missed by many. Very sorry to hear of Bob's passing as we were good friends beginning at Mason School. I was in contact with him as he battled the terrible cancer during the past year. We laughed at some of our escapades while growing up. Bob had a perputual smile and was a good hearted person. Saw him last at our annual boys Christmas get-to-gether at Fishbones and he enjoyed seeing his child hood friends again all in one place. God bless you Bobby.

"My good friend for almost 60 years, particularly the last 45 or so. He was my room mate in the late 60's and we attended many sporting events together, mostly hockey which he dearly loved. I believe he attended his last sporting event with me, a Piston basketball game last month. Great time and lots of reminiscing. Like everyone who knew Bob, I loved him and will miss him tremendously. Rest in peace dear friend."
