Nancy gets a rose, perhaps a dozen. She and I were steady for the 8th grade at Pierce Junior High. She taught me much about letting go of being such a tight-ass and having fun. Why she took me under her wing, I don't know, but I have forever been appreciative. If we had only done the 9th grade together, as well, I am sure I would have had so much more fun in my life. (How that could be, I don't know, but I am sure I could have found a way.)
