Frank was sweet. We were as close as I got to anyone in elementary school; Maire, in those days. We were in Boy Scouts together, too. He invited me to my first dinner out at a friends, not family. "Stay for dinner? Sure." We had tongue, beef tongue. Really? Yeah. Gosh. (I ate it.) I did not die. I did think long about becoming a vegetarian, however. RIP Frankie.
