Sad to hear of John's passing. He was in the room next to mine in Henry Hall during our first year at Western Michigan. He lived in Troy not to far from me and we occasionally ran into each other. Coincidentally I was recently in Hartland Rehab in Troy and John was also in there for rehab and we talked for a few minutes....had no idea he was doing so poorly.
