Sandy was my cousin. Her father and my mother were siblings. Because of conflict in my mother's family, about the only time I saw her after about age 12 was at GPHS and then only rarely. We hardly knew each other. She died much too young.

A bit of Sandy trivia. When she was about age five, her family lived in a rented house on a large piece of land on Cook Road in Grosse Pointe Woods. That land was later used to build Monteith School. Of her family, only her brother survives. He lives in Florida.

I knew Sandra when we were in grade school. She lived a couple houses away from me. We did alot of hanging around together in those days. We lost touch in HS, probably because of different friendships we developed. I was shocked to hear of her death. Agreed, she died too young. I will remember her fondly.

Sandra was my friend and neighbor in High school. We were going to stand up in each other weddings, etc. I moved away and loss contact with her, but did hear of her death, again way to young. I think of her often and all the fun we had and the "secrets" we shared growing up. Still have pictures of her and me together in high school
