Michael Van Den Branden

From high school I went into the Navy and served on submarines for six years. Then completed a four year apprenticeship in the sheet metal trade. Changed direction and started working in magazines and newspapers which interested me much more. March 1989 started my own newspaper/magazine business. Presently serving on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Press Association and work at being a leader in the publishing field. Member of The National Press Club in Washington DC and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Besides being on the track team as a mile runner, I was the main press operator for printing the school newspaper for about three years in the school print shop. I still fell I owe my success in many thing I have done in my life to my favorite teacher, Mister Harding, at GPH.
