Gary E. Winslow

Attended several colleges. Usually left at their request. Joined U.S.Arm y, they straightened me out after numerous push ups. Trained as Radiology Tech in Army. Sent to Germany 1966-69. Great experience.Travelled all over Europe in my used VW convertible. Came back & graduated from Mich State Univ. Moved to Colorado, then N.Carolina, Met my future wife Jill. We Moved to Salt Lake, Utah then Afton,WY. Population about 100.Beautiful country but VERY COLD. Moved back to N.Carolina, started a small corp w/chemist friend (he bailed out after a couple of months) Began selling to corp clients like Krispy Kreme (before they went nat'l) Sold the business to employee in 2001, (he's pretty much destroyed the co.)
In 1990 my wife Jill died, I raised my kids (ages 8 & 14) Never realized how much Jill did until she wasn't there. Kids into Church, Cheerleading, & sports. Hope to never have to eat another Hamburger Helper dinner.

Continuing from "since 1960" Single for over 10 years, focusing on raising ny kids & the company. In 2001 I met my fiancee Mary Owens on the Widownet internet site at a GTG in Helen, GA. Retired, to Sautee- Nacoochee(near Helen,GA). The community is a wild life preserve. Deer will eat out of your hand. Woke up one morning and thought "Now What". Returned to Radiology at local hospital .Retired from there, & started another company. That keeps me busy.

School History. Not much, felt I couldn't do much & consequently didn't. In retrospect, wished I'd joined some of the GPHS clubs, their were many beautiful women in our class. The Army changed that. Came out with attitude there wasn't anything I couldn't do.In Real life realized there might be a few things I couldn't do.
