In loving memory of one of my best friends since the 6th grade, Sharon Tyrrell.  She was probably the most thoughtful and loving person I have ever known.  We grew up together and shared our lives for these many years.  
    Even though Sharon lived in a different neighborhood, she was part of the magical growing up on Vernier Road, along with several of our classmates.  We were surrounded by two working farms and fields behind our houses.  Days were spent climbing trees, and catching pollywogs.  Summer evenings were about playing hide and go seek, and making up scary tales about the haunted house across the street.  Days were spent walking a block to the Shores Park and swimming off the dock. Winters were spent ice skating on frozen Lake St. Clair.  
      Such beautiful memories- one of the best however, was Sharon meeting and falling in love with Bob Tyrrell on Vernier Rd.  A love that lasted for 63 years.   We miss you dear Sharon.
